Join me at this 3 hour workshop where I’ll guide your through ideas on how to start and keep your home practice going, interesting and growing.
This type of Yoga is an excellent conduit to stillness, a feeling of spaciousness and meditation. It is the practice of stillness whilst still doing something with your body.
As you practice the poses I’ll lead you through meditations and visualisations as well as teaching you more about the back ground and development of Yin Yoga, it’s purpose and how that relates to the flow of energy around the body.
Backbends open the heart, strengthen the back and ignite compassion and kindness.
We’ll be emphasising learning how to enter poses finding freedom in the neck, shoulders, upper back, lower back and hips with backbends being the predominant poses.

The foundation of a mega city skyscraper must be stable enough to hold that amazing revolving restaurant at the top. Likewise, we need a solid, true base in order to build up and complete a pose that is stable, therapeutic and holds ease.
In this workshop we’ll be calling in teachings from the 7 chakras to learn how even strength and flexibility within the lower body is fundamental in establishing poses before travelling up the body building a pose to completion.
