Classes

Injuries

When participating in our classes, workshops and retreats it must be understood by all participants that all physical exercise including Yoga carry the risk of injury. By attending you agree are in good physical health and should any injury occur it is your personal responsibility to pay for any medical costs that you believe are necessary.

Being late

Please build in sufficient time into your day to get to class on time. Coming in late is disruptive to other students, to me and to yourself. Occasionally life happens and we are late to class for external reasons, but if you know you are someone who tends to be late to events, make this a priority as something you need to personally work on and change.

Booking your class.

To attend class all participants must book you class on line through my booking system. This can be done up until half an hour before class starts. Occasionally classes fill up. If a class is full the system will not let you book and you will not be able to sign up but here is an option to go on a waiting list. If someone cancels you will be emailed and put into the class. If you are on the waiting list and later find you are not able to attend, please cancel your spot on the waiting list.

Cancellation policy

If you know you cannot come to class, please cancel online so someone can take your place. If you cancel within 24 hours of class start you will be charged for the class.

Packages

1) All packages are non transferable and non refundable.

2) Packages must be paid for in advance in class to me by cash, PayNow or cheque.

2) All packages have a time limit. The expiration date will be written on your card when you buy it.

If participants are not able to comply with these conditions they are advised to buy single classes.

Workshops

Please understand that by making your payment for workshops you are agreeing to a no refunds policy. Refunds will only be given under extenuating circumstances and at my discretion.

Retreats

All retreat participants must purchase travel insurance as a requirement to attend. Insurance must be bought when payment for the retreat is made.

This is to ensure you have comprehensive health coverage and so that should you need to cancel, your costs will be covered by the insurance company.

Cancelation refund policy for retreats:

If you need to cancel 90 days or more before the retreat start date a 50% refund will be made.

If you need to cancel 60 days or more before the retreat start date a 30% refund will be given.

Cancelations within one month of the retreat start will not be refunded.

Please also note our Chiang Mai venue is not a luxury retreat centre. It is ashram style. There is no air-con so I plan our retreats from September to November which are cool months. You will need a shawl or sweater for the evening and the retreat centre is basic Thai rustic style.

If you love high thread count cotton sheets and fluffy soft towels, please do feel free to bring them. I have chosen this place to encourage a feeling of warmth and community, but if a certain luxuries are important to you, do feel free to bring them!

The Telunas Beach Resort is more luxurious but is still not a place where you can expect 24 hour room service, shops or beauty treatments- although there are magnificent beach massages!
I believe we have plenty of options for luxury and pampering in the world today. Somewhere special, with authentic charm and grace is not so easy to find. Enjoy it!

Please also note that people will be arriving from many different destinations. It is the participants responsibility to get to the meet up point to join us on time for the ferry or shuttle bus to leave for the retreat centre.

Please do not ask me for advice on buying flights for our Thailand retreats. Skyscanner.com is a good App to consult or any good travel agent will help you.
